EMANUELA LONGO
Emanuela Longo teaches at Rome’s Santa Cecilia Conservatory
She graduates in Piano at Luigi Cherubini Conservatory of Florence, later she perfects herself with Carlo Dominici (A. Benedetti Michelangeli’s school).
She graduates from “Tor Vergata” University in Rome, Musicology and mastering in History of Musical Theories.
Emanuela Longo becomes familiar, as an accompanist, with the chamber vocal music repertoire, studying with Liliana Poli and Irwin Gage, and also with the opera repertoire, studying with directors Rigacci, Colabianchi, Cattini, Magli.
She masters as Maestro al ballo for ballet: she collaborates with Royal Academy of Dance of London, Tuccio Rigano, Maurizio Bellezza.
Longo’s repertoire includes several cycles of German compositions, cycles of French chansons.
As a musical assistant, light assistant and stage assistant, she took part in many productions works belonging to the whole opera repertoire.
In U.S.A, she took part in the American production of La Serva Padrona, by G. B. Pergolesi, Bastiano e Bastiana by W. A. Mozart and of the show Le tre soprano.
Longo is the protagonist, together with soprano Bianca Barsanti, of Fuori dalla Norma, directed by Claudio Cinelli.
She took part with Ars Ludi Ensemble in the production of Les Noches (Strawisky) at the Malta ArsFestival.
She recorded unreleased material of composer Franco Donatoni collaborating with Ensemble Freon for Stradivarius.
